What This Means

What actually causes this:
The heating element burned out, or the dishwasher's water level is too low for the heater to run safely

Check if your dishes feel cold after a cycle — if so, the heater has failed

1. Check and reconnect the heater connectors

2. Measure heater resistance between both ends — normal: approximately 13.5 Ohm

3. Check whether water level in tub is OK — if pressure switch detects low level, safety program prevents heater from operating

4. Check the drain hose installation condition

5. Check thermistor operation — faulty thermistor gives incorrect temperature readings

6. Check heater relay connections on Main PBA

7. If heater tests normal, replace Main PBA
