Leaking water

When removing the water valve hose clamp, take care to hold it tightly. The clamp is under tension and if released, it can become a projectile and cause injury. There will also be residual water in the valve and valve hose — use a towel.

During the heater operation step, if the pressure switch detects low water level, the safety program activates and the heater is not operated. Since the heater doesn't run, the water temperature doesn't increase, and an HE error is triggered. Always check the drain hose installation and water level before assuming the heater is defective.

After finishing any service: (1) Check door lock switch operation — must lock during run, stop when unlocked, (2) Verify authentic Samsung parts used, (3) Check all wires — not loose or tight, correct connections, bound with tape, properly clamped, (4) Check all screws/nuts fastened to spec torque, (5) Remove all foreign material from inside tub and sump (check through disposer), (6) Check for water leakage from all connections — hose connectors, door, case sump, drain/circulation motor, heater, thermistor, turbidity sensor, distributor motor, water supply/drain hoses, (7) Check power cable and outlet voltages, (8) Verify dishwasher is level, (9) Check installation is on flat/stable surface.
