Smart Install Mode replaces traditional service inspection mode

The DW80K7050 uses Smart Install Mode (SVC Test Mode) instead of the traditional Heavy+Delicate+Power button combination used on older models. Enable it by setting the timer to 17h with Power On, then pressing Hi-Temp Wash Key for at least 7 seconds. To disable, simply press the Power Key to power off.

Water remaining in case brake assembly will spill during removal

When removing the Assy Case Brake, water remaining inside the case sensor and case brake will come out. Always lay a towel on the floor before disconnecting hoses. Loosen all four clamps and release four hoses. Wear gloves — the steel frame left panel is sharp and can cut you.

Cover brake removal requires counter-clockwise rotation with a jig

The cover brake on the Assy Case Brake is removed by rotating counterclockwise. A jig is recommended, but if you don't have one, use needle nose pliers carefully. The cover is easily damaged during removal.

Rear leg adjustment uses worm gear and helical gear system

The rear adjusting leg assembly uses a worm gear and helical gear combination inside the case gear. To remove: first fully extend the rear leg by turning the screw clockwise, remove the holding screw, pull out the worm gear first, then grab the adjusting bar and pull while pushing the helical gear from the backside. The adjusting leg bar is attached to the base by a hook.
