4 technician insights for the Samsung DW80N3030U Series Dishwashers (2018)

Cold water supply adds significant time to cycles

If the water supply line is connected to a cold water supply instead of hot, additional time is required to heat the water. This is a common reason cycles take longer than expected. For best performance, the supplied water temperature should be 120 degrees F (49 degrees C). Connect the supply line to a hot water source.

Cold water supply increases cycle time significantly

If cold water is being supplied instead of hot water, the cycle will take much longer because additional time is required to heat cold water. For best performance, the temperature of the supplied water should be 120°F (49°C). Connect the water supply line to a hot water supply for optimal results.

Connecting hose from water inlet is easily damaged — handle with care

When removing the clamps from the water inlet assembly, be careful because the connecting hose is easily damaged. Water remaining in the water inlet and connecting hose will come out — lay a towel on the floor to absorb any water. Remove the water inlet by rotating counterclockwise.
