How to Fix

   Stop dryer immediately — do not use until exhaust system is repaired.

   Inspect entire duct run for blockages, kinks, crushed sections, and excessive bends.

   Clean all lint accumulation from duct, vent hood, and transitions.

   Verify duct material is rigid or semi-rigid metal — replace flexible foil or vinyl duct if present.

   Check that duct does not exceed recommended maximum length (accounting for 5 ft per 90° elbow equivalent).
