How to Fix

1. 1

   Enter diagnostic test mode.

   Press START/PAUSE once to start tumbling without heat.

3. 3

   Open the door — dE should display and chime should sound 7 times and drum light should illuminate (if equipped).

   If dE does not display or drum light does not come on, proceed to mechanical test.

   Disconnect WH1 and BL3 connectors from main PCB.

   Measure resistance between NA6 pin (GN) and chassis ground screw — should be less than 1 Ω.

   If resistance is not less than 1 Ω, check all wiring harness connections and ground screws.

   If ground is good, disconnect BL2 and WH4 connectors from main PCB.

   Measure resistance between BL2 (WH wire) and WH4 (YL wire) — should be less than 1 Ω with door closed and infinite (open) with door open.

    If resistance values are reversed or incorrect, replace the door switch.

    If resistance values are correct, replace the main PCB.

    For drum light circuit: disconnect WH4 and black tab relay connectors from main PCB. Measure resistance between WH4 YL and WH4 BK — should be less than 1 Ω with door open and infinite with door closed.

    If drum light circuit fails, replace light bulb first, then light socket if bulb replacement does not resolve.
