Belt positioning during reassembly -- between the red arrows

When reassembling the drum belt, it must be positioned between the 2 red arrows on the drum. If the belt is not properly located, it may slip, causing improper tumbler speed, extended drying times, and potentially triggering the belt cut-off switch. This is a commonly missed step during drum reassembly.

Belt reassembly -- locate between red arrows

When reinstalling the drum belt, it must be positioned between the 2 red arrow markers on the drum. If the belt is not properly located between these markers, it can slip, track incorrectly, or come off during operation, causing the belt cut-off switch to activate and stop the dryer.

Blower fan imbalance from debris on fan wings

Noise from the motor area can be caused by debris (lint, small objects) stuck on the blower fan wings, creating an imbalance. Remove any alien particles from the fan wings and check that the fan nut (14mm) is properly tightened. This is a different problem from blower housing rubbing and does not require fan replacement if the fan itself is undamaged. The nut tightness also affects balance.
