14mm socket required for blower fan nut

The blower fan is secured to the motor shaft with a 14mm nut. You need a 14mm socket set with a 6-inch extension to remove it. Lock the blower wheel with a screwdriver while loosening the nut to prevent the motor shaft from spinning. This is a commonly needed tool that many technicians do not carry by default.

Do not replace PCB without proper diagnosis

Before replacing a PCB, ensure all troubleshooting steps have been completed and if possible verified using HASS diagnostics. The PCB assembly is designed to be reliable and should not be replaced based on guesswork. Always follow the complete trouble diagnosis procedure before concluding the PCB is faulty.

Live voltage on PCB -- electric shock risk

Electric models

AC220-240V is applied to the triac T1 and T2 on the main PCB. Even when the dryer appears off, dangerous voltage may be present on the PCB. Strong and weak electricity are mixed together on the board. The appliance MUST be disconnected from supply before commencing tests or repair, and protection must be provided to prevent the appliance becoming live during testing and repair.
