Door reversal procedure — screw B is longer

When performing door reversal, 10 screws are removed from the door assembly. Screw B (2 screws) is longer than the other 8 screws. If the long screws are installed in the wrong positions during reassembly, they can damage internal components or the door may not seat properly. Always note screw positions during disassembly.

Moisture sensor validation after reassembly

After reassembling the moisture sensor or any components near it (Case Filter, Duct Outlet, etc.), you must verify the touch sensor works properly through Smart Install test mode. Enter Smart Install, open the door, place a wet cloth on the sensor (should show 1), remove cloth (should show 0). Failure to verify can lead to inaccurate sensor dry cycles.

Door switch insert direction — critical during reassembly

When reassembling the door switch to the Frame Front, the insert direction is critical. Installing the door switch in the wrong orientation will cause it to malfunction and may trigger dC or dF error codes. The manual specifically warns to check that the Frame Front is fixed on the Frame well and that the Door-Switch works properly after reassembly.
