Electric vs Gas heater testing — different configurations
Electric modelsThe electric model (DVE45T3400*) uses a SINGLE heater at 240V/5300W with heater resistance of 10 ohms (PIN 1-3). The gas model (DVG45T3400*) uses a DUAL configuration with resistance of 13 ohms (PIN 2-3) and 34 ohms (PIN 1-2). Do not use electric model resistance values to diagnose gas models or vice versa — they are fundamentally different heating systems.
