Door switch insert direction matters during reassembly
When reassembling the door switch to the Frame Front, the insert direction is critical. Installing the door switch in the wrong orientation will cause it to malfunction and may trigger dC or dF error codes. After reassembly, always check that the Frame Panel is fixed on the Frame well and Door-Switch works properly.
Child Lock persists across power cycles
If a customer reports that no buttons respond except Power, the first thing to check is the Child Lock indicator. Child Lock remains active even after restarting the dryer. To deactivate, simultaneously press and hold Dryness + Temp for 3 seconds. This is a very common service call that does not require a technician visit.
