No heat

This dryer platform supports both DUAL and SINGLE heater configurations. DUAL heater: PIN 2-3 = 13 Ohm, PIN 1-2 = 34 Ohm. SINGLE heater: PIN 1-3 = 10 Ohm. When diagnosing heating problems, first identify which heater configuration is installed before comparing resistance readings. One element in a dual heater can fail while the other works, resulting in reduced heating rather than no heating at all.

The gas valve (25M01A) has four coil circuits with distinct resistance values: terminals 1-2 = ~1365Ω, terminals 1-3 = ~560Ω, terminals 4-5 = ~1325Ω, terminals 6-7 = ~1000Ω. If any coil reads infinite resistance, the entire gas valve must be replaced. Always shut off gas supply before testing.

When removing the gas burner assembly, take extreme care with the Igniter Bar -- it is easy to break. The manual explicitly warns that the Igniter Bar is fragile. A broken igniter will prevent the gas dryer from igniting and the igniter resistance should be 40-400 Ohm. Always support the igniter during burner removal.

It is normal to hear the dryer gas valve or heating element cycle on and off during the drying cycle. This clicking/cycling sound is the thermostat and control board regulating temperature and is not a malfunction. Inform customers that this is expected behavior.
