Igniter bar fragility on gas models
Gas modelsThe gas igniter bar (101D) is extremely fragile and easily broken. When removing the burner assembly, handle the igniter with extreme care. A cracked igniter will not glow and will prevent gas ignition. Resistance should be 40-400 Ohm. Even a hairline crack can cause failure.
