Critical

Stop using immediately - risk of damage or safety issue

Also displayed as: HC (Upper and Lower)

What This Means

  2. 2

    2. Check the PCB and Thermistor

  3. 3

    3. Check exhaust vent system for restrictions or blockages

  4. 4

    4. Measure thermistor resistance: should be 10KΩ at 25°C (77°F) for lower, 238.23KΩ at 25°C for upper

  5. 5

    5. Check thermostat resistance: should be < 1Ω (infinity means replace)

  6. 6

    6. Check heater resistance: DUAL heater — 13Ω between PIN 2-3, 34Ω between PIN 1-2; SINGLE heater — 10Ω between PIN 1-3

  7. 7

    7. If resistance is infinity on heater, replace heater assembly
