Also displayed as: AE
What This Means
Door gasket loose or fell off; Float assembly stuck; Seal assembly not properly connected to sump; Unit not leveled correctly; Wrong detergent causing oversudsing; Door opened during cycle; Excess water in tub from faulty inlet valve or air guide; Controller (main PCB) damaged
How to Fix
- 1
1. Tilt the machine to drain water from base. Identify and inspect all sealing areas.
- 2
2. Check sealing part of drain hose, pump casing assembly, and vario motor for leaks. Reassemble or replace as needed.
- 3
3. Inspect door gasket for proper seating. If loose or fallen off, replace door liner assembly.
- 4
4. Check if safety (float) switch assembly is stuck. If so, replace safety switch assembly.
- 5
5. Use a digital level to verify machine is properly leveled. Level the machine if needed.
- 6
6. Confirm customer is using dishwasher-rated detergent only, not hand dishwashing liquid.
- 7
7. Ask customer if the door was opened mid-cycle. If door gasket is verified good, replace door liner assembly.
- 8
8. Check if excess water is present in tub suggesting inlet valve not closing. Replace inlet valve or air guide if overfilling.
- 9
9. For AE diagnostic report: document level check, mounting bracket, detergent type, cycle count, most-used cycle, inlet water temp, and whether door was opened.
- 10
10. If no physical cause found, replace main PCB assembly.
- 11
IMPORTANT: For AE errors, always remove water from underneath the float switch (safety switch) before restarting.
