How to Fix

    Do not use the dryer until the exhaust system is cleaned and/or repaired.

  2. 2

    Inspect entire duct run for blockage, lint buildup, or crushed sections.

  3. 3

    Check vent hood at exterior — clear obstructions and lint.

  4. 4

    Ensure outside vent shows strong airflow when dryer operates.

  5. 5

    If exhaust run is extremely long, have it rerouted.

  6. 6

    Keep the area around the dryer free of clutter.

  7. 7

    After cleaning, run installation exhaust test: hold SIGNAL ON/OFF and TEMP CONTROL, then press POWER, then START/PAUSE.
