Power supply wiring error — electric dryer power cord connected incorrectly

How to Fix

1. 1

   Verify the power cord connection at the terminal block: neutral (white) to center screw, red and black wires to left and right screws.

   For 4-wire connection: connect green ground wire to external ground screw.

   For 3-wire connection: ensure neutral-ground jumper is properly installed if local code permits.

   Confirm strain relief screw is tightened.

5. 5

   Check house circuit breaker/fuse for 240V supply.

6. 6

   Measure voltage at outlet: should be 208–240 VAC ±10%.

   If outlet voltage is correct and wiring is confirmed good: re-test. If error persists, check main PCB.
