Condenser Fan Motor Error (Machine Room Fan)

How to Fix

1. Reset the unit and enter Test Mode 1 (push test button 1 time).

2. Measure condenser fan motor supply voltage at CON4 Pin 24 to Pin 23. Expected: 11.4 to 12.6 V. If absent or out of range, replace Main PCB.

3. Check visually if condenser fan is rotating. If not rotating, proceed to step 4.

4. Measure fan feedback voltage at CON4 Pin 22 to Pin 23. If reading is 0 V or 5 V (stuck), fan motor or circuit is faulty.

5. Check fan motor mechanically: rotate by hand. If sticky or bound, replace the condenser fan motor.

6. Measure fan PWM voltage at CON4 Pin 21 to Pin 23. If reading is 0 V or 5 V (stuck), replace Main PCB.

7. If fan rotates freely but no feedback signal, replace the condenser fan motor.

8. If all voltages are normal and fan rotates, explain to customer (intermittent condition).
