Defect of pantry sensor — short-circuit or disconnection of pantry compartment sensor

How to Fix

  1. 1

    Step 1: Check connector between Main PCB and pantry sensor for looseness or disconnection. Reconnect if needed.

  2. 2

    Step 2: Measure pantry sensor resistance. If 0 ohms (short), replace sensor.

  3. 3

    Step 3: If OL (open), check wiring harness continuity.

  4. 4

    Step 4: Compare measured resistance to appropriate temperature chart. If out of spec, replace sensor.

  5. 5

    Step 5: If resistance is normal, explain to customer — no fault.
