Error Code FF E
Freezer Fan Error
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: FF E
What This Means
Failed fan motor, ice or rust inside motor, wiring short or break, PCB issue
How to Fix
- 1
Reset the unit and enter Test Mode 1 by pressing test button on Main PCB once (all items on).
- 2
Open the freezer door and check for air movement from evaporator fan.
- 3
If no air movement: Manually rotate the fan blade by hand. If blade feels sticky or stiff, the motor has internal ice or rust — replace the fan motor.
- 4
If fan rotates freely but does not spin under power: check loose connection in CON7.
- 5
Measure voltage between pins (2) and (3) on CON7: if below 7V, replace the Main PCB.
- 6
Measure voltage between pins (1) and (3) on CON7: if 0V or 5V, replace the fan motor.
- 7
Note: MICOM checks BLDC feedback; if no signal, fan stops for 10 sec then retries for 15 sec — repeated 3 times before error displays for 30 minutes.
- 8
If fan begins operating normally after error, MICOM resets error display automatically.
