Defect of BLDC fan motor for freezer
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
How to Fix
- 1
Reset unit and enter Test Mode 1 (push test button once). Open freezer door and check air flow from duct — if windy, go to step 4.
- 2
If no air flow, check fan motor by rotating blade by hand — if sticky/seized, replace freezer fan motor.
- 3
Check CON4 20th-to-19th-pin voltage: should be 11.4–12.6 V. If not in range, replace Main PCB.
- 4
Check CON4 18th-to-19th-pin feedback voltage: should NOT be 0 V or 5 V (must be varying signal). If stuck at 0 or 5 V, replace fan motor.
- 5
Check CON4 17th-to-19th-pin PWM voltage: should NOT be 0 V or 5 V. If stuck at 0 or 5 V, replace Main PCB.
- 6
If all voltages are correct and air flow is present, explain to customer.
