Door Open Error (variant 1)

What This Means

Door not all the way closed; Loose electrical connections at door switch and PWB assembly; Door switch assembly out of order; Connector to door switch or main PWB disconnected; Spring of latch hook not actuating; PCB assembly faulty

How to Fix

1. 1

   Confirm dE1 or dE2 is displayed — note: if not resolved within 20 seconds, power will turn off

2. 2

   Check if connector to door switch or main PWB is disconnected — if disconnected, reconnect or repair

3. 3

   Check if spring of latch hook actuates — if not, replace Door Assembly

4. 4

   Check for clicking sound once or twice when START/PAUSE is pressed — if no click, replace PCB ASSEMBLY

5. 5

   If click is heard, check if DOOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY is broken — if broken, replace DOOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY

6. 6

   Environmental check: machine must operate with all doors completely closed and locked; washing area water temperature must not exceed 45°C
