Drain Error

What This Means

Not fully drained within 10 minutes; Connectors at main PCB or drain pump loose or disconnected; Air dome or pressure hose clogged; Drain pump motor resistance out of range (should be 1-20 Ω); Main PWB voltage to drain pump not 120 VAC ±5%; Kinked or clogged drain hose; Frozen drain hose; Foreign objects clogging drain pump filter; Foreign objects caught in pump impeller

How to Fix

   Confirm OE is displayed

   Check connectors at main PCB and drain pump — if loose or disconnected, reconnect or repair

3. 3

   Press WASH/RINSE and DELAY START simultaneously — check if water level reading is below 250; if not, check air dome and pressure hose for clogging, check pressure switch (test #2)

4. 4

   If water level is below 250, measure resistance of drain pump motor (terminals 1 to 2) — should be 1-20 Ω; if out of range, replace DRAIN PUMP ASSEMBLY

   Check voltage between main PCB connectors NA4-1 BN and BL3-1 BK — should be 120 VAC ±5%; if not, replace MAIN PWB ASSEMBLY

   Always check external causes: kinked/clogged drain hose, frozen drain hose, foreign objects in pump filter or impeller

7. 7

   To manually run drain pump: turn on washer, press SPIN SPEED to select LOW, press START/PAUSE
