Heating Error

What This Means

Thermistor out of order; Thermistor resistance out of expected range for water temperature; Wiring harness to thermistor damaged

How to Fix

1. 1

   Confirm tE is displayed — note: if not resolved within 4 minutes, power will turn off and error will blink

2. 2

   Check thermistor resistance at terminals (1) to (2): 39.5 kΩ at 30°C, 26.1 kΩ at 40°C, 12.1 kΩ at 60°C, 8.5 kΩ at 70°C, 3.8 kΩ at 95°C, 2.8 kΩ at 105°C (±5% tolerance)

   If resistance is out of range, replace thermistor/heater assembly

   Check wiring harness from thermistor to main PWB (connector NA3)
