Door Open Error (Type 1)

What This Means

Door not completely closed; Loose electrical connections at door switch and PWB assembly; Door switch assembly out of order; Spring of latch hook not actuating

How to Fix

   Confirm dE1 is displayed

2. 2

   Check connector to door switch or main PWB — reconnect or repair if disconnected

3. 3

   Check door switch resistance values (see table: pins 2-4: 700-1500Ω at 25°C; pins 3-4: 60-90Ω at 25°C; pins 4-5: Infinity) — replace door switch assembly if out of range

   Check spring of latch hook actuates — replace door assembly if latch hook spring does not actuate

5. 5

   Check if clicking sound occurs once or twice when Start/Pause is pressed — if no click replace PCB assembly

6. 6

   Check if door switch assembly is broken — replace if broken

7. 7

   Environmental note: machine must operate with all doors closed and locked; water temperature must not exceed 45°C
