Error Code IE
Water Inlet Error
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
What This Means
Correct water level (24.6 kHz) not reached within 8 minutes after water is supplied; Preset water level not reached within 20 minutes; Air chamber or tube has holes or clogs; Filter inlet valve clogged with foreign material; Drain hose not installed between minimum 24" and maximum 96" above bottom of washer; Inlet valve connectors broken or loose; Resistance of inlet valve assembly out of range (not 0.8-1.2 kΩ); Inlet valve connector CN551 disconnected from Main PWB; Incorrect electrical connection / damaged main harness; Pressure switch faulty
How to Fix
- 1
Confirm IE is displayed on panel
- 2
Press Cold Wash and Temp buttons simultaneously — check if water level frequency is below 24.6 kHz
- 3
If yes: Check air chamber and tube for holes or clogs
- 4
If no: Check if filter inlet valve is clogged — clean or replace filter
- 5
Check drain hose height (must be 24" to 96" above washer base) — adjust if incorrect
- 6
Check inlet valve connectors for damage or looseness — reconnect or repair
- 7
Measure resistance of each inlet valve terminal: should be 0.8–1.2 kΩ — if out of range replace inlet valve assembly
- 8
Check inlet valve connector voltage: should be 12.5V–13.6V DC with power on — if correct replace inlet valve assembly
- 9
Check CN551 connector at Main PWB — reconnect or repair if disconnected
- 10
Verify electrical connection per wiring diagram — replace main harness if incorrect
- 11
After reconnecting, check water level frequency again; if still below 24.6 kHz check pressure switch
- 12
If all checks pass: replace Main PWB assembly
- 13
Installation safety check: verify no water tap leakage, no freeze, no hose entanglement, no water shortage, no hose shrinkage from hot/cold misuse
