Error Code LE
Locked Motor Error - motor cannot rotate or is stalled
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
What This Means
Motor drive connector (RD4) disconnected or disassembled; Wire from motor to main PWB damaged; Rotor magnet cracked; Stator resistance (U-V, V-W, W-U) outside 5-15 Ohm range; IPM (Intelligent Power Module) in controller faulty
How to Fix
- 1
Confirm LE ERROR is displayed
- 2
Check connectors - is motor drive connector (RD4 on main PWB assembly) disconnected? Reconnect connector/wire/motor
- 3
Inspect motor part and wire harness visually
- 4
Check if rotor magnet is cracked - if yes, replace the ROTOR
- 5
Pull out RD4 connector and check resistance at connector terminals (Red 3P male): U-V, V-W, W-V should each be 5-15 Ohm
- 6
If resistance out of range: replace the STATOR
- 7
If resistance in range: check IPM in controller
- 8
If IPM check fails: replace MAIN PWB ASSEMBLY
