Error Code IE
Water Inlet Error — correct water level (24.6 kHz) not reached within 8 minutes after water is supplied, or does not reach preset water level within 20 minutes.
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
What This Means
Air chamber or tube clogged; Filter on inlet valve clogged with foreign material; Inlet valve connectors broken or loose; Inlet valve resistance out of spec (should be 0.8-1.2 kΩ); Inlet valve connector voltage not 120 V AC; Connector to MAIN PWB assembly disconnected (NA2, NA4, BL3); Electrical wiring incorrect — main harness fault; Water level frequency still below 24.6 kHz after connector check — pressure switch fault; MAIN PWB ASSEMBLY failure
How to Fix
- 1
Confirm IE is displayed.
- 2
Press WASH/RINSE and DELAY WASH simultaneously; check if water level frequency is below 24.6 kHz. If YES → check air chamber and tube for clog.
- 3
If NO → check if filter inlet valve is clogged with foreign material. If YES → clean or replace the filter.
- 4
If NO → check if inlet valve connectors are broken or loose. If YES → reconnect or repair connector.
- 5
If NO → measure resistance between each terminal of INLET VALVE ASSEMBLY; should be 0.8-1.2 kΩ. If NOT in range → replace INLET VALVE ASSEMBLY.
- 6
If resistance OK → check voltage at inlet valve connector; should be 120 V AC while power is on. If YES → replace INLET VALVE ASSEMBLY.
- 7
If NO (no 120 V AC) → check if connector at MAIN PWB assembly (NA2, NA4, BL3) is disconnected or disassembled. If YES → reconnect or repair connector.
- 8
If NO → check electrical connection per wiring diagram. If incorrect → replace MAIN HARNESS.
- 9
If wiring OK → recheck water level frequency after connector verification. If still below 24.6 kHz → check PRESSURE SWITCH.
- 10
If frequency OK → replace MAIN PWB ASSEMBLY.

Related Error Codes
Suds Error — too many suds detected. Machine adds a Suds Reducing cycle (adds approximately 2 hours to cycle time). If too many suds detected during spinning, machine stops to prevent leaking.
Pressure Sensor Error — PRESSURE SENSOR ASSEMBLY is out of order; water level frequency consistently below 10 kHz or over 30 kHz. Note: PE error will not disappear when START/PAUSE is pressed; if unresolved within 20 seconds power turns off and error blinks.
Locked Motor Error — motor or motor harness fault.
Unbalance Error — load balance issue prevents spin.
Overflow Error — water is overflowing; water level frequency is over 21.3 kHz. Note: when FE is displayed, the drain pump will operate automatically to drain water. Power will NOT be turned off automatically.
Door Open Error (variant) — door switch circuit fault, same root causes as dE1.
EEPROM Error — EEPROM is out of order. Displayed only when START/PAUSE button is first pressed in Load Test Mode.
Power Failure — power supply was interrupted while washing machine was in operation, then power was rapidly restored.
