Drainage Error — water is not completely drained within 12 minutes
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
What This Means
Drain hose is not located properly (too low or kinked); Drain hose is folded, clogged, or frozen; Defective drain pump; BL3 connector (WHITE 6-pin) to the main board has a bad connection
How to Fix
- 1
Position drain hose at 0.9-1.2 m (36-48 inches) above the floor
- 2
Make sure the drain hose is not plugged with a foreign object
- 3
Check if connector to pump motor assembly is disconnected; reconnect or repair
- 4
Enter service mode — if water level frequency is below 26.0 kHz, check AIR CHAMBER and tube for clogs and press switch
- 5
Measure drain pump coil resistance: should be 10-20 ohms; if out of range, replace DRAIN PUMP ASSEMBLY
- 6
Measure voltage at BL3 pin3: pump running = 120V +/-5%; stopped = 0-1V; if out of range, replace MAIN PCB ASSEMBLY
- 7
Environmental checklist: hose must not be in lower position, must not be bent or frozen, pump must be free of foreign material
