LG Washers

Error Code FE

Overflow Error - Water level too high / overflow condition

Moderate

Address soon - your appliance may not work properly

Also displayed as: FE

What This Means

Water level frequency in SVC mode reads below 21.0 kHz, indicating overfill; Inlet valve leaking or stuck open; Air chamber or pressure tube clogged (causing false high reading); PCBA controlling inlet valve incorrectly

How to Fix

  1. 1

Enter service mode: power on, press SPIN SPEED + DELAY WASH simultaneously.

  2. 2

Check water level frequency: if over 21.0 kHz in SVC mode, check air chamber and pressure tube for clogs.

  3. 3

If air chamber/tube is clear, check if the inlet valve operates continuously when power is not applied (valve should NOT energize without command). If valve runs continuously with power off, replace the inlet valve assembly.

  4. 4

If inlet valve is controlled correctly but overflow persists, replace the Main PCB Assembly.

  5. 5

Note: If segment display shows under 10 during FE, replace the PCBA; replace the valve if water level is controlled by valve issue.
