Error Code OE
Drain Error - Water not draining
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: OE
What This Means
Drain pump connector disconnected or disassembled; Drain hose kinked, clogged, frozen, or positioned too low; Drain pump coil resistance out of range (should be 10-20 Ohm); PCBA failure; Air chamber or pressure tube clogged (water level frequency below 26.0 kHz in SVC mode indicates blocked chamber)
How to Fix
- 1
Verify drain pump connector (WH5 Pin1) is fully seated at pump motor assembly.
- 2
Enter SVC mode; if water level frequency is below 26.0 kHz, check air chamber, pressure tube, and pressure switch for blockage.
- 3
Inspect drain hose: must not be positioned lower than the machine, must not be bent or kinked, must not be frozen, must be free of foreign material.
- 4
Measure pump coil resistance (pin 1 to pin 2): should be 10-20 Ohm. If out of range, replace the drain pump assembly.
- 5
Check voltage at WH6 Pin 1 during drain: pump running = 120V +/-5%; stopped motor/pump = 0-1V. If voltage is present but pump does not run, replace the drain pump assembly.
- 6
If voltage is absent at WH6 Pin 1, replace the Main PCB Assembly.
- 7
Environmental checklist: hose must not stay in lower position; hose must not be bent/clogged; hose must not be frozen; no foreign substance inside pump.
