What This Means
Thermistor malfunction; PCB malfunction; Restricted vent system causing excessive heat buildup; Heater element failure
What actually causes this:
Most often caused by a clogged exhaust vent that traps hot air inside the dryer, or the heating element has burned out.
First Thing to Check
Check your exhaust vent — disconnect it from the back of the dryer and look for lint buildup inside.

2. Measure thermistor resistance: should be 10KΩ at 25°C (77°F)

4. Check heater resistance: SINGLE heater — 9.2-9.6Ω between PIN 1-3

5. If resistance is infinity on heater, replace heater assembly
