Thermistor connector disconnected; Thermistor wire harness damaged; Thermistor resistance out of range (should be 10-12kΩ at 77°F)

How to Fix

Unplug dryer and access thermistor at blower housing
- 2
Disconnect thermistor connector from main PCB
- 3
Measure resistance across thermistor terminals with multimeter
- 4
At room temperature (77°F/25°C), reading should be 10,000-12,000 ohms
- 5
If open (OL) or significantly out of range, replace thermistor
- 6
Check wire harness for damage between thermistor and PCB connector
