What This Means
Clogged lint screen restricting airflow; Restricted or blocked vent system causing abnormal temperature readings; Thermistor resistance out of normal range (open or shorted)
What actually causes this:
Usually a clogged lint screen or blocked exhaust vent — restricted airflow causes the sensor to misread temperatures.
First Thing to Check
Pull out the lint screen and clean off all the lint, then check that your exhaust vent hose isn't kinked or blocked.
