What This Means
Clogged lint screen restricting airflow and causing abnormal temperature readings; Restricted vent system causing heat buildup; Thermistor resistance out of range (open or shorted); Disconnected thermistor wiring harness
What actually causes this:
Usually a clogged lint screen or blocked exhaust vent — restricted airflow causes the sensor to misread temperatures.
First Thing to Check
Pull out the lint screen and clean off all the lint, then check that your exhaust vent hose isn't kinked or blocked.

3. Measure Cycling Thermistor 1 resistance: should be approximately 10KOhm at 25C (77F) — Blue wire Pin 3 to Red wire Pin 6

4. Measure Cycling Thermistor 2 resistance: should be approximately 238.231KOhm at 25C (77F) — Yellow wire Pin 2 to White wire Pin 7

5. If thermistor resistance is out of range, replace the thermistor
