Door locking error / Door lock motor failure

What This Means

Door lock motor not operating; Door locking switch failure; Disconnected harness from door lock components; Door lock micro switch failure; Main PCB defect

How to Fix

1. 1

   Disconnect power and open cover-back

2. 2

   Check harness connection with door lock switch and motor

3. 3

   Measure voltage at harness supplying power to door lock motor (normal: AC 120V)

4. 4

   Check door locking switch operation

5. 5

   Measure resistance of CN501 on main PCB

6. 6

   Check COM-NO lock motor position switch

7. 7

   Measure resistance of lock motor (normal: 23-31 ohms)

8. 8

   Replace micro switch or lock motor as needed

9. 9

   Replace main PCB if necessary
