What This Means

Membrane wire harness improperly connected with PCB; Short circuit in harness, membrane, or PCB; Shorted connector on PCB

How to Fix

   Check membrane wire harness is properly connected with PCB

2. 2

   Disconnect membrane wire harness

3. 3

   Check harness, membrane, and PCB for short circuits

4. 4

   Disconnect power and remove membrane keypad from PCB

5. 5

   Check if connector (CN301) pin has short circuit on main PCB

6. 6

   Check for short circuit between membrane keypad and bracket

7. 7

   Repair short circuit areas or replace membrane

8. 8

   Replace PCB if short cannot be fixed
