Error Code C-21

Oven overheating — oven temperature is rising excessively beyond set point

What This Means

Shorted oven temperature sensor; Damaged heating element (broil, bake, or convection); Faulty relay (DLB, Broil, Bake, Convection); Damaged wire harness; PCB malfunction

How to Fix

  1. 1

    Disconnect power and open the back cover

  2. 2

    Disconnect sensor harness from control unit

  3. 3

    Measure sensor resistance (should be 1080Ω at room temperature)

  4. 4

    Check broil, bake, and convection heater resistance

  5. 5

    Verify DLB, Broil, Bake, and Convection heater relays are working normally

  6. 6

    Check for damaged wire harness connected to sub PCB

  7. 7

    Verify oven sensor connector resistance at sub PCB (Normal: 1080Ω)
