Door locking information - Door lock malfunction

What This Means

Disconnected harness; Faulty door lock motor; Defective door locking switch; Damaged wire harness to lock motor

How to Fix

1. 1

   Disconnect power and open back cover

2. 2

   Check harness connection between door lock switch and motor

3. 3

   Measure door lock motor resistance (Normal: 1.75kΩ to 1.95kΩ)

4. 4

   Check voltage at door lock motor connector (Normal: AC 120V)

5. 5

   Test door locking switch operation

6. 6

   Replace micro switch or lock motor if defective

7. 7

   Replace main PCB if other components are normal
