What actually causes this:
The defrost heater burned out or the control circuit failed

Does the fresh food compartment ice over instead of defrosting properly

How to Fix

1. Unplug refrigerator for safety

2. Disconnect MAIN PCB CN70 wire from PCB
- 3
3. Measure resistance between CN70 White ↔ CN72 Black
- 4
4. Normal resistance: 120 ohm ± 7% (440 ohm at 120V input)
- 5
5. If 0 ohm: heater is shorted
- 6
6. If ∞ ohm: heater/wire is open
