What actually causes this:

IPM chip thermal failure or short circuit

First Thing to Check

Check if inverter board is hot (thermal shutdown)

How to Fix

    1. Check IPM voltage (should be above 13.5V)

  2. 2

    2. Verify no shorts between IPM pins 1-33

  3. 3

    3. Check solder quality on IPM footprint

  4. 4

    4. Test compressor independently
