Error Code 15E
Freezer fan motor stopped or not sending feedback

Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: 15E
What This Means
Defective BLDC fan motor (ARES2120RA); Wire harness to fan motor separated or damaged; Feedback signal line contact failure at CN76
What actually causes this:
The freezer fan motor has seized, or a wire to it has pulled loose at the connector.
First Thing to Check
With the fridge plugged in, listen at the freezer evaporator for fan noise — if silent, verify the door switches are triggering correctly.
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
Enable forced operation mode (FF) to run the fan
- 2
Measure voltage at Main PCB CN76 pin 9 (F-FAN feedback) — pulse signal of approximately DC 2V repeating indicates motor is spinning
- 3
Measure drive voltage at Main PCB GND to CN76 pin 4 — should be DC 8–12V during operation
- 4
Check that all freezer and fridge door switches are closed (DC 0V at door switch pins)
