Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: 1E
What This Means
Sensor housing connector separated or loose; Wire open-circuited or short-circuited; Defective thermistor
What actually causes this:
The wire connector to the freezer sensor has pulled loose, or the thermistor itself has failed open or short. Cold and vibration over time cause connector fatigue.
First Thing to Check
Open the freezer evaporator cover and visually inspect the sensor connector — push it firmly home.

How to Fix
- 1
Enter self-diagnostic mode (Freezer + Control Lock held 10 seconds)
- 2
Measure voltage at Main PCB CN30 pins 1 and 8 — should be 1.0V to 4.5V
- 3
Compare measured voltage to temperature/resistance table on page 107
- 4
If voltage is out of range, inspect wiring and connector, then replace sensor if needed
