What This Means

What actually causes this:
A small item like a coin, hair pin, or sock got into the drain pump and is blocking it

Check the drain pump filter (usually at the bottom front of the washer) — open it and remove any debris like coins or lint

1. Check for any alien substance inside the draining pump — remove foreign material such as underwear, coins, wire, etc.

2. Check the natural drain in the same manner for any blockages

3. Check if there are any incorrect connections or broken wires

4. Check the drain pump resistance — should be 13.5 to 16.5 ohms

5. Check if there is any alien substance inside the drain pump — if the motor stops because the water temperature is high, replace the pump

6. In winter, if frozen, remove the frozen water referring to the relevant repair procedures

7. If the machine malfunctions intermittently, check the wire connections and terminal contacts

8. If the main PCB is defective, replace it
