What This Means

What actually causes this:

The lid lock switch has a bad wire connection or the switch itself is broken

Unplug the washer for 5 minutes, then plug it back in and try again

How to Fix

    1. Check whether the door lock switch unit is inserted properly

  2. 2

    2. Check whether the door lock switch unit is damaged

  3. 3

    3. Check the Door Lock/Unlock contact resistance — approximately 0.2 Ohm between terminals (Checking Part: White-Red for Lock, White-Blue for Unlock)

  4. 4

    4. Check the disconnection of the wire

  5. 5

    5. If the door lock switch unit is defective, replace it

  6. 6

    6. If the main PCB is defective, replace it
