What This Means

Washing heater is short-circuited or has a wire disconnected; Washing heater in the tub has a contact error; Temperature sensor fault; Water level sensor operates without water due to freezing; Temperature sensor detects 100-150°C (overheating protection triggered); Heater engagement fault — heater is out of place; PBA relay malfunction

What actually causes this:

The heating element has burned out or come loose from its bracket

Unplug the washer immediately — an overheating washer should not be used until serviced

How to Fix

    1. Check the heater connections and wiring for short circuits or disconnections

    2. Check the temperature sensor for proper contact and readings

  3. 3

    3. Check if water is frozen in the tub causing the water level sensor to operate without water

  4. 4

    4. Verify the heater is properly seated in its bracket

  5. 5

    5. If the heater has no error, check for a PBA relay malfunction

  6. 6

    6. Replace the heater if it is short-circuited or has a disconnection
