What This Means

Motor spin net not engaged; Motor internal coil damaged (short-circuited or cut); TMR sensor terminal not connected; Foreign material entered motor; Motor overloaded (too much laundry); Motor TMR sensor terminal not connected; PBA fault or weak driving signal; Unstable relay operation; Erroneous TMR sensor signals; IPM terminal of main PBA not connected; DD motor cover out of place; PCB housing terminal not connected; DD motor fault

What actually causes this:

The motor is overloaded, jammed, or a wire came loose

Remove some laundry — the drum may be overloaded. Then restart.

    1. Check motor connector terminal connections

    2. Read motor winding resistance at any two of three terminals: should be 12Ω at 25°C

  3. 3

    3. Check TMR sensor connections

    4. Check for foreign material in motor

  5. 5

    5. If PBA is defective, replace PBA
