Also displayed as: 3C

What This Means

What actually causes this:

The washer is overloaded with too many clothes, or the motor or its sensor has failed

First Thing to Check

Remove some laundry to reduce the load and try restarting the cycle

Parts Involved

How to Fix

  1. 1

    1. Unplug motor connector and measure resistance at any two of the three motor terminals — should be 12 ohms at 25 degrees C

  2. 2

    2. Check the motor connector terminal connections and contacts

  3. 3

    3. Check the motor Hall Sensor — measure resistance on Main PCB between pins 2 and 4, and pins 3 and 4 of the four-pin connector — resistance should be approximately 2 to 4 megaohms

  4. 4

    4. Check voltage at Hall Sensor connector when power is on: Pin 1 = 5V, Pin 2 = Hall-A, Pin 3 = Hall-B, Pin 4 = GND, Pin 5 = Clutch Hall IC

  5. 5

    5. If the hall sensor terminal is faulty, replace the hall sensor

  6. 6

    6. Check whether the stator of the motor cover is damaged

  7. 7

    7. Check for coil disconnections due to foreign material

  8. 8

    8. If the PBA control circuit is faulty, replace the PBA
