What This Means

What actually causes this:
The electronic door lock has failed or a wire connection to it has come loose.
First Thing to Check
Unplug the washer, wait 5 minutes for the door lock to reset, then plug it back in and try closing the door firmly.

1. Press the power key to turn off display and remove power cord from outlet

2. Check the door lock switch connector — Motor: No 1 & 2, Lock: No 3 & 4, Unlock: No 4 & 6

3. Check wiring: Motor PBA(CN801) No 17 & 19, Lock PBA(CN801) No 21 & 23, Unlock PBA(CN801) No 23 & 25

4. Measure Door Lock SW (Motor) resistance: BLK(1) & BRN(2) terminal — Motor resistance approx. 33-46 ohms

5. Measure Door Lock SW (Lock) resistance: WHT(4) & RED(3) terminal — Lock switch resistance approx. 0.2 ohms

6. Measure Door Lock SW (Unlock) resistance: WHT(4) & BLU(6) terminal — Lock switch resistance approx. 0.2 ohms

7. If the main PCB is defective, replace it
