5 technician insights for the Samsung NE58F9710W Series Ovens & Ranges (2013)

Communication Connector Inspection

E-83 (Main PCB communication error) and -tE- (Sub PCB communication error) often caused by loose connectors rather than PCB failure. Always check connector seating at both main PCB and sub PCB before ordering replacement boards.

DLB Relay Compatibility Issue

Mixing old PCB versions (2 taps on DLB relay) with new wire harnesses (4 taps/white housing) causes heater to not operate. The housing must be inserted to the center position only. Old versions use blue housing with 2 wires on DLB position.

Heater On-Off Cycling Detection

During heater operation, especially bake and convection modes, heater cycles on and off to maintain temperature. When measuring heater voltage, technicians must measure for at least 1 minute to see full cycling pattern. Single momentary voltage measurement may miss the cycling operation.

Heater Resistance Values

Each oven heater has specific normal resistance: Bake ~19.2Ω, Broil ~13.7Ω, Convection ~3000W element. Resistance values outside normal range indicate element burnout. Must measure with harness disconnected.
